Jeff Leyland

Jeff Leyland

-aka “Whalin’ Leyland” Handicap: 20.4

Jeff is the host with the most at GuysOnGolf.com. He has experience as a sports broadcaster, in both TV and radio and loves to give back to the game of golf. His on-air credentials include a number of years with citytv and Team1040 sports radio in Vancouver and has had golf articles published in Vancouver View Magazine. Jeff has had a strong passion for the game and his dad bought him a junior membership at UBC when he was 15. When he is not on the course he is spending countless hours at the driving range or playing pitch and putt to tighten up his short game. Keep an eye out for Jeff, because he’s coming to a course near you.

Jordan Behan

Jordan Behan

-aka “I.B.” Handicap: 15.9

Jordan is a Founding Member of Guys on Golf, and owner of Tell Ten Friends Marketing Co. He maintains this site, edits the videos and has some hosting duties on the podcasts as well.

His golf game consists of really high fades and lots of missed putts, with some solid iron shots in between. He welcomes all tips from his younger brother Wes, just not during his back-swing. 2007 will be his first Kelowna tour. Link to JordanBehan.com.

Wesley BehanWesley Behan

-aka “Snips” Handicap: 5.0

Wes is a Founding Member, and is the undisputed “player” in the group (at least, when it comes to golf skills). Wes is a Realtor with RE/MAX Central in Burnaby, but is also a grad of Professional Golf Management School- meaning he knows how to play. Wes offers “How to Break 90″ tips, and a player’s perspective of the courses we play. His ball flight is always incredibly low, as are most of his scores. This will be his second Kelowna tour with the Guys. Link to WesleyBehan.com.

Ryan SullivanRyan Sullivan

-aka “The Kid” or “Sully” Handicap: 22 (approx)

Ryan, the youngest member, was also at the Founder’s meeting for Guys on Golf, and plays a big part in the production of the audio podcasts, as well as how they interface with the Team 1040 AM site. A budding sports broadcaster, Ryan is being mentored by Jeff, and indeed all of the guys in the group, on and off the course. His game is developing, as are his skills around a microphone. Listen for Ryan in upcoming podcast episodes, as well on a sports radio dial near you.

  1. Nicely done with the website…very cool idea.

If you want any info regarding the Greg Norman Signature courses we’re building over here in Dubai, UAE let me know…got loads of photos and funny stories to go along with.

Take care, enjoy the summer cause it’s too freaking hot over here to play, we’ll get out for a hit at Myrtle Point when I come back next July for a visit.

    Later, taggart

  2. Well done! Looks super pro! Great memories from last year as I watch that video. Good luck this year – don’t let the spirit die!

  3. Jeff, I appreciated you taking the time to drop by the Bowen Island Golf Club booth at the recent Vancouver Golf Show and particularly appreciated you taking the time to do a short video on “us” with me in my stylish yellow GolfKnickers. Our golf course is as equally spectacular as my outfit at the Golf Show. We invite you and your GuysOnGolf foursome to come join us for a round. We accept no responsibility if you fall in love with the golf course and Bowen Island in general and choose to stay. Bruce

  4. Jordan and Wes,

It was a pleasure playing golf with you both here in Las Vegas at the fair but challenging Revere Golf Course. I am delighted to be nominated as your Guys On Golf Las Vegas Bureau Chief/Correspondent!

I am playing at Boulder Creek this weekend and we are expecting a high of 62 degrees…not bad for January eh!

Take care and looking forward to hitting the links with you both again soon!

    Best regards,

    Brad
