Wes and I took some time to play a round at the Revere Golf Club, with a view of the Strip in Las Vegas.

Brad Broderick was our host, and he chose an excellent course in the Lexington at Revere. Troon golf in the desert, with valleys, views, waterfalls and wildlife. It reminded me of the Okanagan more than once, with its desert flora and fauna and varying elevation changes. A full review and more course details will be available soon but for now, check out some of the photos from the day:

The Weather Network just released a desktop widget called “Weather Eye Golf.”

It lives on your desktop, and will give you the current conditions and forecast of over 17, 000 golf courses in North America.

Jeff Leyland and his GuysOnGolf crew enjoyed a beatiful and challenging day of mountain golf at it’s best at The Chateau Golf club. We saw a few bogies but not a single bear.

For the next stop, GuysOnGolf headed down to Nicklaus North Golf club. Jeff chats with Director of Golf Andrew Smart as we confirm that this track does indeed live up to all of it’s hype.

Its become a regular thing to chat with the coolest beer girl on the course that day and found the bubbly Jules.

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler Hotel
We have stayed in some nice hotel rooms during our time here, but the Mountain Suite at the Chateau took the cake as Jeff gives his thanks.

The crew at GOG get a chance to review and play this wonderful GolfBC track located just outside of Duncan, and Jeff chats with GM Jason Lowe.

Full Course Review

Course Conditions:
- For the time of year (April), the greens were in good shape.

Value for Cost:
- The course is affordable and a lot of fun for everyone to enjoy.

Beer Rules/Cart:
- Your lunch includes a beer and the carts have 4 drink holders… bonus!
- The cart girls were available and accommodating for a little video (see video post).

Drinking Water on Course:
- We were provided with water before we teed off and instructed how to get more.

Pace of Play:
- That’s only because we were one of the slow ones, trying to film, take photos, drink and play. LOL

Difficulty Rating:
- The course is forgiving, you can score very well, unless your trapped in one of their bunkers (Josh).

Staff and Service:
- Everyone on staff was friendly and you could tell they all had a passion for the game of golf. The GM, Starter and Marshall were all on their game. Also, they let us tee off from the restaurant balcony onto the 18th green for fun.
